My OH and me live in his 2bed house and when our 2 teenagers visit we are bursting at the seams. We have talked about moving but never really looked into it. However we recently visited his brothers house for the first time and can see how much more space they have and have decided to look into it. The main thing thats obviously stopped me thinking about it seriously is the small  matter of my debts below ( from my marriage to ex), as until they are paid off I can't afford a mortgage even if I could get one.
We discussed this... and OH offered to pay them all off with the equity from his house and we start out with no debts in a new house!!!!
I can't believe it!!!:D
How lucky am I:beer: :j
We have seen a financial adviser and can get a near-prime mortagage at a much better rate than I imagined (luckily his credit report file is squeeky clean) for a couple of years until my credit is repaired somewhat.
On cloud nine now, off to tart up this place now and get it valued!!
