Hi
I have just moved to Australia and am missing my comps!
I can’t find a decent comp website, so also missing my MSE

All the comps I can find have been of the '25 words or less' variety and Ihave never been very good at those. I am hoping that people that have won thosetypes of competitions in the past can give me some hints and tips on the best approachto these type of comps.
Thanks for any advice.

Top tip for "25 words or less" comps? ... Keep it to 25 words or less
I've never done one of these types of competitions ... I guess the top tip would be to try and make it interesting / funny.
In response to a "Why do you like cheese?" question, saying something like "I like cheese because it tastes good, it's great with bread and pasta or on it's own" isn't likely to gain many votes from a judging panel (assuming these these things are judged). But if you jazz it up a bit by saying something about the moon being made of cheese, The American's going to the moon to mine cheese ... I don't know, I need to sit and think about it for a while, hence I don't enter these comps, I tend to overcomplicate it in my head and could spend hours on it. Just need to make it stand out from the drivel that they will no doubt receive. Next one you get, post it up.0 -
If I find any like that, I would try to answer in rhyme, to make my entry memorable.0

I always think you should make up something the company can use, like a slogan or tagline.total wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00
