I baked a cake on Tuesday, and decorated with butter cream icing, I needed it for Wednesday. However circumstances have meant I wasn't able to eat it and now the earliest opportunity will be Saturday.
It was outside until Wednesday evening and since then it has been loosely covered in the fridge. Will it be ok until Saturday lunchtime? It smells and feels fine but just wanted to be on he safe side.
All advice gratefully received.

i've made a coffee cake with buttercream and stored it in a tin and it was eaten over the course of a week, it was fine only after about 4 days the buttercream soaks into the cake a little bit in middle.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500
