First time posting on this forum.

Can you freeze fresh egg noodles - I mean the bags you buy in supermarkets by the fruit/veg/salad. Sometimes we don't have the stir fry that I have planned so I throw them away (breaks my heart) because they just say "keep refrigerated".

Are they OK to freeze, defrost and stir fry?

Thanks for any advice.

DollyDee

And I have now got another bag on the "Use By Date".

I got loads of 10p ones on day and froze them all.. I think DS1 ended up raiding my freezer and taking them all.. but he is still alive ;)

I do it and cook them from frozen too. i haven't poisoned anyone yet, I just give them a bit longer cooking time.

They do smash easily when frozen tho, so dont expect them to resemble long noodles when you come to cook them
