my mortgage valuation has just been done so am expecting the offer any time now, how long does it officially last for please? And when does the clock start ticking? Am asking as theres a possible issue with my sale, and wanted to know how long the offer stood for if there is a hiccup
Say it went on for another month or 2, then ready to progress, would i need to provide more docs like up to date banks statements and payslips?

Can depend on lender but Nationwide is 6 months from the issue of the offer.
My offer was issued August 8th and expires in Feb. I'm not sure if any more docs will be requested when I get close to exchange/completion?0 -
Would like to know this too please x:beer:0

It depends on the lender and the mortgage. Fixed rate deals may be less.0

Thanks everyone for your answers, just asked as slightly worried about the possible deed of rectification I might have to get?
Kingstreet (me again, sorry), my solicitor seems to think Woolwich/Barclays will accept the offer of indemnity insurance to cover there being nothing on the deed about whos responsible for the buildings insurance? Does this sound a normal way around it?? I think i find out for sure next week, just trying to do a bit of research really0 -
No idea, sorry.
