Hi Folks
I started my Debt Free journey in October 2009 with a total outstanding debt of £45200. Five years laterand I have cleared 70% of that debt, but still looking at just over 2 years until I can say I am free of it!!!
I've always kept it in mind that it was my fault I accrued that much debt so it was up to me to repay it no matter. But what I keep wondering is all the adverts I have seen about a government incentive to write off up to 75% of your debt. While I never looked down that route anyway I always wondered if that was at all possible?
And if so, as I have cleared 70% of my debts can I ask for the remainder of my debts to be waived?
Looking forward to being Debt Free
Rex
