I am at the last section of my self employed tax return and Im not sure what to do.
I worked Apr and May in full time employment before leaving to be self employed. I moved away, gave the company my new address but the failed to send out a P45 or P60 and I have been in touch with them countless times - they just cant be bothered helping me out!
have 2 payslips, so I can fill in my tax earnings and money earned from that but it is asking me for my PAYE Reference number which is only on the P45 or P60.
would this number be the same as the previous year?? I worked for them for 2 years in total?

Your final payslip will have the same pay, tax and NI figures as a P45 so you can use these figures for your SA tax form. I have done this where an employer didn't give me a P45 or P60. This shows why it is important to keep your payslips. They went bust later and took £40 a week of my opted out SERPs pension with them. I'm not covered by the gov.t PPF scheme because it was before 1995. B*****ds.
The employers tax reference number will almost certainly be the same as before.0
