Anyone up for a clear £1,200 challenge???

Hi Guys,

Its payday on Wednesday!!!

I have one debt over my head that i really want to clear and that is £1,200 that I owe my sister.

I have set myself a target to try and clear as much of this as possible by end of September I want it gone. This gives me two months to try and raise it.

Just wondered if anyone on here has a similar debt to clear and if they wanted to join me on my challenge?

I really need to keep motivated and any ideas on how to raise extra would be gratefully received.

Oh and whilst I'm typing thanks to all the support i have had on this site, you all really do help and i dont feel like i am alone with my debt.

As you can see from my signature its going in the right direction and i finally hope i can achieve my main aim (Debt free by 30!)

I am 28 on 31st July so have 2 years to clear it all and according to snowball i should just about do it.

    Hi,

Just worked out that starting today we have 10 weeks until the end of September so I need to raise £120 a week to meet the challenge.

I will ebaying and Car booting like mad but I think its actually achievable. I am so glad I put this post up as I feel really motivated now.

I need about £110 a week, which is a big ask, especially as in the middle of August we have a week's holiday and September sees DS's birthday. However, a challenge is what is needed, and if I fall short, then at least I will be closer to paying it off than I would have been without it!!

    Good luck!

Hi CC, sorry I'm late, but can I join too?
I want to knock £1,200.00 off of my total debt.

My total debt today (1st Aug) is £3,326.27.

I am waiting for a payout for bank charges from Barclays of £700.00, but I don’t want to include this in my £1,200.00…

I get paid on Fridays so I have 9 Fridays to make £1,200.00!!!!

That’s £133.00 per week! WOW! That’s going to be tough! Especially as I have a short holiday and my 29th birthday within all of that!

I’m up for it!!!! Bring it on!!!!

I shall add a line at the bottom of my signature…

    Much love and support…

    Hi

I won't be joining you as I am debt free ( Jan 07) but find the DFW board gives you such a kick up the bum that I stay here to make sure I never get back into debt, and I would like to cheer you guys on.

Some ideas are, quidco, freefivers, rpoints and pigsback daily clicks as well as surveys etc.

Also Quidco give you £20 if you sign up for Hilarys blinds to see you, you don't have to buy anything just have an appointment with them. I boked an appt but had to cancel it as it was sports day but it is still validated and hasn't been declined ( yet ) so it may work even if you cancel the appt. But I would be happy to see them just to get the £20.

Any further ideas and I will let you know
