Well, as my mother would say, if he's big enough and ugly enough to get himself to, round and from the USA on his own, he should be able to find out where to buy a bus ticket and get on the right bus.

They MUST sell them SOMEWHERE near where the RailAir bus for Reading leaves.

I'll pick him up from the bus (I just LOVE Reading station [not]) and assess whether he and my mother are in a fit state to see each other, if not we'll head home.
