Halifax Mortgage offered but full search not appearing on credit report

Hi All,

I have recently exchanged contracts after full mortgage offer was received

However, looking at my credit report, i cannot see a full search on it. It appears as a ''mortgage quotation''

Does anyone know why it shows as quotation?

I am completing in a few weeks

I have 3 'credit quotations' on 3 different dates from my building society, I have yet to exchange contracts/complete, my valuation going ahead this friday

Mine is like this too. My mortgage offer is with halifax and I checked Experian, call credit and equifax and it only shows on experian x

  • They only search Experian and it will probably only show as a quotation

I had one last year, never once did I have anything but quotation searches
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Its abit odd but i think it could be a halifax thing.

They get all the info they need from the mortgage quotation. They have done about 4 of these

Im just scared that they havent done a full credit check and they can pull out in the last minute. I have contacted solicitors and they have confirmed that they have called Halifax and the money will be released on day before completion

I used a broker so i hope all goes well. I have rpovided all correct information to date
