super fast broadband

Hi all, i've been using BT Infinity for the past number of years and am so sick of it. It's continually dropping signal and as past few nights i've had to set up our username and password, then it re-registers and takes about 30min to start working again. I've spoken to BT who seem adamant that there is no problem with the hub (i'm not so sure) and they can offer an upgrade to a newer home hub (mine is the home hub 3) but at a price.

Just checked am i've been out of contract since August so am potentially looking for a new super fast broadband supplier. I'm quite a distance from a city so Virgin media are out the window. However i've spotted a decent looking deal with plus net, has anyone had any dealings?

Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

I used to use BT Infinity and found it excellent with no drop outs and it was super fast. however I realised that I paying quite a lot for something I didnt need. I dont download a lot of stuff, no big movie files etc etc, just general browsing. So I left Bt and went to EE as there was a discount due to my mobile contract being with them. big difference in my broadband but I can live with it. Surprised you have issues with BT. anyway, about Plusnet. I havent used them but they apparently are number 1 in terms of customer satisfaction. Excellent after sales etc etc. I believe though ( not sure) that they are an offshoot from BT. Strange that BT themselves have poor customer satisfaction.
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

I've never heard of anyone having problems with BT Infinity before but hey, stuff happens.

I've been with Plusnet for 3 years. I'm rural and have had excellent results and only one outage which was almost nationwide last week for about two hours. Much easier to deal with as well. Better technical support. Much cheaper than BT. All of which is very surprising because they're a BT owned company.
