Hi guys I've just come back with meeting with my dea at the jobcentre, he was very nice and explained that there is a local college that can provide training courses in accountancy which is a similar area where I want to work in.
He mentioned that it's a full time place and I've had a look on their website too, they will fund everything for me if I'm a daily traveller or residential stayer. I would have to pay for washing my clothes and if I were to travel back home on the outside designated week of free travel home which I don't mind.
He mentioned if I would do this I would be moved to training allowance and would have no sign on during my training time, now I work part time at 6 hours a week. Now my mam who works in same place said I could ask my manager if I could take a break from work. Now if I do this would it affect my training allowance as I'm still effectively employed but I wouldn't work during my training. This is a college which caters for the disabled and could help me to get foot in the door as my quakification are all healthcare based.
Also is an aat level 2 a good qualification.
