DawnW -I am always so amazed by the number of people that look after their childrens kids willingly. It is an amazing gift you are giving your children, I really hope they appreciate it.

Thanks Bob - I LOVE my grandchildren, but unfortunately I was unable to spend as much time as I would have liked with the older ones when they were little as I was working full time in a very stressy job

I took early retirement at the end of April this year, and feel so lucky that I can be more involved with this one. I love looking after her, and it saves her very hard working and OS Mum from paying for childcare. She is a teacher, and really does appreciate it :D

But I am really just thinking of all the fun I can have watching her grow up :D
  • Good evening everyone, hope you're feeling better Ziggy and well done on an amazing MSE day out Foxgloves, and hello to everyone else!

    My little list for today:
    All meals from stores
Another NSD - that's two days in a row
    Checked bank
    Checked PCL
    Checked birthday bingo
Notified energy supplier to go onto a cheaper tariff
No heating on, snuggling under a blanket
Cleaned bathroom using minimal cleaning products with some elbow grease!
General tidy up, polish and hoovering (not that you'd know it now)

And that's about it for today - not too bad a day today :)

  • Hi everyone! today I have been out for lunch for my mums birthday, paid for by my dad as a treat :) and hubby is bringing his dinner home from work in takeaway tubs (he's a chef!). Had to stop at sainsburys on the way home from work this morning for a few bits and my favourite air freshener plug in was on offer (ambi pur sleep serenity honey and warm milk, its amazing! mmmmmmmm my bedroom smells so good!). Other than that I have been lounging around the house doing nothing because when I finish a run of night shifts I feel soooooo tired and also I have a sore throat so im feeling sorry for myself! Tomorrow I will be back to normal and going to aldi for my main shop yay!

    happy Wednesday :) x
