    The three "male" symbols are inside the letters QE2 (a ship), giving the common phrase "three men in a boat". :)

    CEON44 I take there is nothing else in the dingbat other than the letters? It's a hard one all right!

    Nothing else unfortunately. I have scoured countless websites but cant find it. i'm starting to suspect it is a "home-made" one, thrown into the mix with a few relatively easier ones.
    I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

    OP do you know if it is British or American?
    I.e. does it mean underpants or trousers?

    could mean anything really, thats the nature of dingbats. Could mean underpants, trousers, knickers, briefs, slips, trunks. keks etc etc :mad:
