On the plus side, I'm enjoying a cheap bottle of Green Mark Voddy. You gonna join me DM?

    Evening peeps. :)

I know it's late, but I wonder of anyone has any ideas.

I have an HTC Desire HD phone, but I can't download MSL!! It says it's not compatible.

Anyone know how I can do it?

    You can't in a word. :(
I too have an HTC Desire and it can't run the android OS that MSL needs. MSL needs Jellybean iirc which I tried to install but it wouldn't let me as it's not supported.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news. :(

If she is as egocentric as you say she is then you will probably not have to talk to her for long, she will expect everyone to crowd round her to congratulate her and chat cheerfully :D You may well be able to melt away fairly quickly without her even noticing :D

That said, I do not do baby showers. My son's fianc!e had one and I even refused to go to that, my excuse being that I really do not know her friends (they are really weird too, totally different attitude to me, her friends that is, get on well with her). To me, baby showers are basically begging events where everyone tries to bring a better present than the next person, especially as the presents are unwrapped there and then in front of everyone. Yet another imported Americanism. As for what to give her, something like an ornamental money box for baby?

It is be awkward as there is only really one person who likes her…and she is a little vulnerable at the moment as she had lost a desperately wanted baby and as a coping mechanism she has aligned herself with the horrid one and taken a step away from everyone else. We are going to the 'do' for her. I don't think that it is a good import from America (is there any good imports!) :D:D:D

Now that is really mental, special games to play at a baby shower…. I probably would kill someone if I had to spend time with her and play games! :o:o:o

MSL Requires Android 4.0 and up, HTC Desire HD will only upgrade to 2.3ish.

Other than getting a newer phone I think your out of luck :(

...borrow someone elses phone and sign in / out on with diff MSL accounts ?

Actually it looks like you might be able to run an open source version:

Yes definately turnip (or neeps) Big and yellow inside. Swede is smaller and white inside. Well where I come from anyway. I think different areas may refer to them the other way round?

Yes turnip was really hard to scrape out and we used to spread the

newspaper over the table to catch the soil as freshly pulled from

Granddads allotment but it was harder to remove the newspaper print

that was left on the kitchen table ..... And then the excitement of

making a guy for bonfire night the kids today have costumes the lot

I remember on my first visit to Canada they had the Halloween out

fits etc etc and I thought this would never catch on in England. ...

You need to root the phone and get a custom mod. An example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377119

Do so at your own risk.

There are probably more up to date mods.

I did my Wildfire s and it works fine (except bluetooth)
