£300 would have been lovely as well!
Just spent the last hour carving a pumpkin for DD. First time I've ever attempted it before. I'm thinking I should have went for something easier than Olaf from Frozen though :rotfl::rotfl:
She's delighted with it though
Shame
Do we get a pic of your pumpkin?0 -

Hope you get to finish early today.
As for the tablet, kids of that age generally only need internet access as they will be asked to do research or they may need to access web based learning programmes. I'm not sure what you mean by cheap as everyone has their own ideas but something like the kindle fire IMO is cheap but would do the job. IPads are great but unless you're getting them with vouchers they are not cheap!
Kindle fire comes in different versions, and personally I'd spend the extra £10 to get it without offers (which is permanent adverts)! Your cheapest then is 89. It comes in funky colours too! Hth
Thank you, your an :A
I will look into this, it is for a really nice family, who do not have two penny's to rub together, I give them stuff out of my stash all the time but when it comes to big items like this, I have to let them buy it themselves.0 -
Forgot to mention also when filling up...
T's motor oil 15w40, 5w40, 10w40 oil 4 litre for £4 in T's garage
synthetic, semi and mineral oil also £2 for 2 litres!:D
I picked up 3 cartons, works out at £1 a litre, you couldn't pick up wilkos/asda own brand at that price!!
I paid £5 for 4 litres of the fully synthetic and £2.50 for 2 litres, I bought enough for the next couple of years servicing.
The new packaging 4 litres is £28 :eek:0 -
Evening,
Had a quick look at Morries app now showing two Birdseye items, peas 1.37 kg and 30 cod fish fingers, with 1000 points each, these are also 50% back on MSM? Think this is about £2:12 for both items:beer:
I haven't done a morries shop yet... Can you just buy the bonus items to accumulate the points or do you have to buy them in a £15 spend to get them?
Thankyou
Good afternoon everyone:wave:
We've been to m3adowh3ll:eek: I was planning on going to the mr shoes event but having seen how busy it was we walked in one door and back out of the other... It was so much easier when little man was in his push chair...at least I knew he couldn't get lost in the crowd.
Went into whsmiths for the priority moments peppa Halloween activity book and the loom bands but my app wouldn't connect so no freebies for me today:(
Did notice in Waterstones lots of childrens books were buy one get one half price ... diary if a wimpy kid/ David Walliams/ Julia Donaldson/jaqueline Wilson/ Holly Webb etc DD used her gift voucher from last Christmas and got 4 books. So she was pleased.0 -
I'm going Sunday altojack, hopefully we'll get some decent weather
Where are you off to Chris? I've booked Loret (again), we have been several times but the hotel I got today is further down the hill nearer to the beach and flatter ground:cool:
DH is home, when I told him I'd booked a holiday he just looked at me and asked which card Id used to pay for it and said he'd go sort out his case. Job done:T
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
