Hello!:)
Was just popping in to say Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (42 pack) may be an item for C&C/HD. They are showing rback £3 in my A store, and going through the scan at £3:(:rotfl:, but they are £4.25 on a.com qnd msm. Vs Sains at £3. Hopefully they will work - seems to have been a pack design change looking at the picture of the product now on msm and I hope they haven't disappeared off the system (is that why the price is in discrepancy?) but, there we are, some actual food for C&C/HD! Looks good to me as weight hasn't changed or anything. In addition (I like it when offers coincide:D), there may be cashback through msl for them at the moment - buy 2 and get 50% off!:j0 -
Does anyone have thoughts on this double the difference scenario.
Bought a reduced item at Tesco at the weekend which had a Yellow sticker on it saying £4.00.
I've only just noticed the receipt says £9.20
Would there be double the difference on this or not,I'm thinking no because there wasn't a SEL as I remember as it was a clearance item.
Or should there be as it's still an overcharge,I'm flummoxed as usual lol
I raised an issue over DTD with T this was their response...
To me from what you say it looks like the incorrect placing of a reduced label perhaps?
As discussed during our telephone conversation, please find below a copy of our overcharge policy:
In the unlikely event that we charge you more than the price shown on the shelf or the product, we will give you double the difference
There are 9 different types of overcharges.
Double Scan
The customer's receipt shows they were charged for more products than they purchased.
Wrong Product Look Up (PLU)
The Customer Assistant entered an incorrect Product Look Up (PLU) and the customer has been charged for the wrong product. The wrong PLU was entered when the customer was served at the bakery.
Four Point Check
The description, unit size or weight of the product is different to the Shelf edge label.
The point of sale information of the product is different to the product or shelf edge label.
Dual Located –Stack/Feature/Promotion end Space wrong Price
The customer has been charged a different price than that detailed on the point of sale and/or Shelf edge label.
Incorrect Placement of Reduced to Clear Label
Reduced to clear Label did not cover all/any barcode and the customer was charged the full price.
Price Scanned at the Till Different than the Shelf Edge Label
The customer has been charged a different price than detailed on the Shelf Edge Label.
Offer has Finished
Shelf edge Label and/or Point of Sale is displaying and the offer has finished.
Pre Priced Product Error
The customer has been charged a higher price than the price marked on the product. The customer has been charged a higher price because the Shelf Edge Label and/or Point of Sale do not match the price on the product.
Offer Not as Advertised in the Media
Customer has been charged differently that the offer advertised in press, radio or TV.
If the mistake is not noticed before the transaction is completed the customer is entitled to double the difference if they have been overcharged for any of the above reasons.
I hope this helps and, as promised, I have passed your complaint over to the Store Manager and asked that they contact you back as soon as possible.
Once again, I'm sincerely sorry for any upset caused. If there is anything else I can do for you please don't hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards

Thanks to OP regarding the wine in Morries. Did 3 shops this morning using my 3M. SA said points don't go on till tomorrow but I see the points are already on. Disappointed as only 27790 points = £25 voucher. Should it have been more? Thanks in advance
Spent in total £50 in 4 separate shops. Had 2 vouchers which added up to 700 points but these don't get added till the following day seemingly? Not sure if I have done this right
1st shop - 2 Hardys wine and Comfort
2nd shop - 2 Hardys and 2 toffee apples
3rd shop - 2 Hardys and a pies
Expecting a voucher went back did a few other shopping items got an extra 1000 points for the fish. No voucher. Come home and points in my account. Hopefully voucher next shopLuv a bargain

I would email head office and ask them - then if they agree then you can take the email to the store
I once tried my luck at a drink glitch, I cant remember the full details but they refused DTD in store so I returned them - I went home and emailed HO who replied confirming I was entitled to it, and advised me to return to the store to collect my free drinks and my moneythey paid me approximately £160 to take the drinks away.

I don't know about comfort as I haven't bought it. Wine depends on how much you bought in each shop?0 -

hampydoodums wrote: »Just wanted to thank u savvy for your fabulous morries points lists :A:A:A:A. Particularly useful as my store doesn't have all the extra points showing (I even had to tell the wine guy he's missing signs on the Hardy's).
I've copied them to a spreadsheet and done a separate tab for things which are likely to be whoopsied, especially now we know the points still go on. Printed the list off and keeping it in my bag
You can update it next week then!:D If anyone can take the list into Morries and cross out any that show as expiring on 2/11, we'll then know what's carry over - and just a matter (a simple matter!:rotfl::rotfl::() of seeing any new ones next week. Otherwise, we could have around 20 people each to take an aisle of their own and keep that up-to-date. I won't be able to do this whole thing again - tell you the offers signs are a flamin' distraction from the rest of the price collection:rotfl:. I keep wanting to just do the 'simple' price collection (takes only around a couple of hours these days in first store then 30 minute quick whizz round second) but keep getting drawn to these points signs - and find it hard to remember the exact product, the price AND the number of points (seems Savvy can only hold maximum two pieces of info. for a product lol:rotfl:). I did pretty well yesterday though - first store check (general price throughout store and additional points offers I picked up on) took only 2 hours 20 minutes. We used to spend around 2 hours doing a weekly shop in our hypermarket years and years ago.
The original collection of them "all", the points offers and including the price collection, took 5 hours 20 minutes:eek:. Or was it 4 hours 20 minutes? I just kept going and couldn't stop!:rotfl::o:rotfl::rotfl: (Much muttering under my breath as I reached later aisles and loads and loads of points offer in them! Oh no, not more!) Anyway...I used a different major store yesterday, hence why I suspect quite a few more were picked up. And then :(found another few in a much smaller store I used as my second store attempted anomaly-resolution place. Glad they had the Infacare Baby Bath with a price in there. Big store didn't! And were also on the ball with the Vegetable Fingers price - in the smaller store!:)0 -
