thanks it was a long time ago, but my mum never got over it, and I know the driver never did either after he died his daughter said he was haunted by the fact all his life my mum could not forgive him which made it worse, there was no peace for anyone,
so many life's wrecked :( by one moment of madness

I'm sure your Mum never got over it rhosy. Can't imagine how awful it would be to lose a child in this way. Such a waste of a poor young life. As for the driver, yes he also ruined his own life. It's something I couldn't forgive either :( xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I picked up a pack of mr T's whoopsie'd ones from the bakery & their rubbish! Very disappointed but for 25p I suppose I can't really complain

I'm not a fan of fresh bakery supermarket ones as find them dry. My mum buys loads from her local pie shop and they are quite nice, but flat. Making my own next weekend anyway, need to use up all that jus rol pastry and the jars of Robertsons mincemeat that were cheap a few years back. Think they were 25p a jar?? BBE date of next spring :D

    Evening peeps. :)

Thankyou for all the welcome back replies. I have read all of the comments and I knew there would be a mixed bag of reactions. I'm not daft, I know I done wrong. It's not something I would condone, but circumstances were a factor.

I'm going to tell you all about how things went. I'm not trying to justify myself and I know it will probably provoke all sorts of comments, but here goes...

May 27th was my wifes birthday, so we and friends went out for a meal and had a decent drink afterwards. We all ended back at hers where the drinking continued. At 1am, whilst we were sleeping, her son came home and started an argument to which I tried to stop only to be faced with him and his friend attacking me and then threatening to 'smash my car up and steal my carboot stuff' So to stop that, I thought to drive my car to a friends house about 200 yards away., BIG mistake, I only reversed 10 feet off the drive when a police car pulled up!! Upshot, I was 3 times the limit.
I went to court, was banned from driving for 3 years, fined £700 and a suspended prison sentence.

All this was bad enough but I had a friend who drove my car and I was still able to go around doing my daily business.

Forward to 3rd aug. My friend and I were going to do a car boot but he couldn't make it! I had a lot of Sanex items to sell and as a lot of you know, I survive by doing car boots, so I went on my own. On my way home I was stopped by police because I didn't indicate when turning!!! (into the street where I live)

    Mistake number 2.
I know I done wrong, I'm not stupid, But at the end of the day, as some peeps said, I've served my time. I've never been in prison before and I can honestly say I'll never go there again!!

Ultimately my car has been crushed due to a 'deprivation' order. Plus the tow away company stole most of my car boot stuff!!!

Life now is going to be difficult, I relied on glitches and the ability to take advantage. Can't do it anymore. :(

Upshot 2. As I've been 'inside' no rent has been paid on my home, so I'm going to lose it. No bills have been paid, so I'm now massively in debt.

Staying in HMP is not good, I would never recommend it to anyone, lesson learnt!!

Peeps, I love this thread and respect all comments. I'm just trying to be honest with you all. If you've met me me in RL, you'll know that.

Probably gonna lurk for a while! :o

I'm off for some sunshine in Florida :). Can't wait, which is probably why this week seems so long.

Glad you are getting away for some sun HG. I can honestly say today is the first time I've ever noticed you wearing your grumpy pants. Most unlike you :p
