Good afternoon all, no luck for me finding the Aussie giftset but will keep looking. Had a bit of a mess about buying V3 cards yesterday, one activation slip missing so had to go to cs to sort out.

For anyone trying to find alternative ways to use them other than ppal, did we know that the school dinner thing parentpay takes v3 cards? I just loaded £25 onto dd2s lunch account using one with no probs. One less to go through ppal :)

Was surprised what I had bought , won or was in the right place for :money::D

I don't think I need to buy anymore pressies for them :D

Can treat myself if I see anything. I need a new pair slipper boots :T:T:T

Whilst sorting out the loft last week I came across a large box of the M&S stuff that I'd completely forgotten about. :o

Thornton's order just arrived. Yay I thought!

One of the Santas is smashed to bits. Poor Santa. One Christmas present down!

Their customer service has been good so far though so hoping they can send another or refund.

Turned into a rotten wet day day here now, it's tiddling down

This morning doc has referred me back to hospital consultant about my knee. It is so unstable now, I've just gotta be brave and go ahead with replacement

Also referred to eye clinic as since May I can see a round clear disc shape outlined in black right in front of my eye. When I look right it moves to the right and looking left it moves to the left. Specsavers said in June they couldn't see anything wrong but it is becoming disruptive now as it's always there.

Funeral went fine, nice little crowd there and it seems I've landed myself back in a singing group :o. How did I do that?

As a treat I'm going to Gala bingo tonight for a free session. They miss me and sent me a free game.

At last MrA has got the Halloween mags in, do the pasta compare well anywhere just now please?
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    :hello:

So that was the price collection for the Pot Noodles:rotfl::rotfl:. That is nearly all that has changed in M (as far as affects the list). Just a couple of other items: the M Microporous Tape, that I saw with 55p on Monday, has either increased now to 58p:(:( or the store on Monday had an incorrect price showing. (Or the stores now both have incorrect prices showing and the original store was right:rotfl:.) However, it looks like M really were watching when I mentioned those on this thread being 55p and therefore Tvs M. They are now 58p (it appears, and yes I checked that one both in my first and my second store today). I'm removing them!:( The 58p price won't get us to buy them in M - unless T now goes to 55p or below!:rotfl::rotfl:

Also the Birds Eye Veg Fingers (10 pack) have gone from £1.50 bogo'f' to £1.50/any 2 for £2.00:(. Not that you could ever tell from my first store:mad:, which has never had the bogo'f' offer label showing, and now does not have the 2 for £2 showing either. Had to use second store, and thank goodness I found the Carlsberg 20 pack there:rotfl:.

I may be adding the BE Cantonese Rice 380g btw as that now appears to be £1. There are other new pasta ones in M (which were there at £1 on Monday, unlike the Cantonese Rice) - they remain at £1 in M but I doubt they'll compare vs M as they are very new products and those specific ones are vs T anyway (unlike the Egg Fried Rice & Peas on the M list and possibly unlike the Cantonese Rice - not caught up with what T is on that yet). Don't let confusing Savvy confuse you;) - stick to what's on the M list vs M and the pasta ones on msm vs T. Cantonese Rice do not use until at least tomorrow if not Friday (need to wait for APG update on that - I think £1.75:eek: on Monday).

As for the points list (again, do not let confusion reign as I jump suddenly to a separate thing), I started off checking a very small number of 'anomaly' items from last time and then found yet more points items! Several in the home/kitchen area - and then "loads" more elsewhere! So, the points list is certainly incomplete - which I suspected anyway - but I now have about 2 more pages to add on. That will probably not been done today, or if it is will be very late tonight as I have other things needed to be done this afternoon/evening - so just to be aware I am aware of the 'issue' of several missing points items and I will add them to the points list either late tonight or maybe tomorrow during the day. Probably not too much of great interest - I don't think I have the Ambrosia Mini Rices on there at the moment even though I mentioned them before - I must have become so jaded of a very poor offer:rotfl:. £1.49 (my price guide is 50p:rotfl:) and value in pence in points. But, for attempt at as complete as it will ever get, I will be putting it onto there (if it isn't already) as soon as possible. Some are only on until 2/11 and I doubt I'll keep doing it - although you trying doing a price collection and being distracted by M points offer signs everywhere:rotfl: - I have that one, got that one, not got that one:(...:rotfl:

A moment of amusement today with the collection. I wondered what was that "Stay Fresh" Tea Tree Shampoo that I have no manufacturer name and no size or volume for on the points list. I started off just looking for the few points list items on which I had 'queries' to resolve. When that was done, start proper price collection part.

I couldn't find the shampoo. Looking in all the conditioners/shampoos/beauty aisle etc.- couldn't see for staring. Oh well, I thought, if anyone does find some Tea Tree Shampoo at the price on the points list and with the points, they'll find it anyway.

Then, much later, I came across the item when doing the full price collection. It turns out the Tea Tree Shampoo is Bob Martin Shampoo - in other words shampoo for dogs:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:! And it's 300ml, just for the record, btw!

So...just the Pot Noodles really for the price collection part of things. I always mention at this point that 45p (ten per cent off 50p) is really no good, as the S/P Noodles are 35p straight and that that itself is an increased price over several years, however my mentioning of this fact is now predictable and is becoming a bit staid and boring. In any event, not just yet on the Pot Noodles as they have only gone on with today's price collection - they were not 50p on Monday - so will need to wait on them in any event! Not too long though - M's offer is on until 2/11 - so they are only managing 50p Pot Noodles it seems for about half a week. So this will be the Wednesday price collection if it ever picks them up - need to wait till possibly Friday for that to have updated - and then will be gone, it looks like, with the update after that.
