Good morning all. Dry and bright here.

Boots doing their £12 of points on a £75 online spend 29-30th Oct, and £12 of points on a £50 spend instore, today and tomorrow, you can check the boots site for local stores, handy if you are wanting the No7 Advent calendar.

I haven't watched any Game of Thrones yet

I have read all the books, but only have series one on DVD so am resisting the urge to watch it until I can get a deal on the rest. I've learned my lesson from watching The Wire and *having* to buy the other four series once I'd watched series 1 :rotfl:

So you didn't get the match points on pre discount price but after the 25% was taken off. Cheapest price I think at £2.99 per bottle and as no huge wine lakes at the moment, except Freixenet a very respectable price for a good wine and under mhoc's £3 a bottle.

Stupid question on the Freixenet what is the life expectancy? It's just the White is 2011 year dgs was born and the rose 2012 year dgs arrived. I wouldn't expect a long life but wondered.

    Good morning :)

Can't help with the life expectancy V. I think I've mentioned before my Dad was a bit of an old wine/fizz buff and he invested quite a bit of money in some bottles. I still have some of them!! For me, it's been hit and miss opening them. Some have been fine........others have been positively rank! He always kept them in a lead lined safe which is now in my garage. Upright and never lying down for fizz. There's lots of conflicting advice about it online as well.
Id say if you want it to keep, put it in a cool dark place.
