I'm at morries. Bought 6 bottles. Paid £32.61. Got 2670 match points and 12000 more points which is equal to £14.67 in vouchers. So it does see the discount.

It didn't spit my voucher out from yesterday either. Put the kettle on I'll be home in 10 :D

So you didn't get the match points on pre discount price but after the 25% was taken off. Cheapest price I think at £2.99 per bottle and as no huge wine lakes at the moment, except Freixenet a very respectable price for a good wine and under mhoc's £3 a bottle.

Stupid question on the Freixenet what is the life expectancy? It's just the White is 2011 year dgs was born and the rose 2012 year dgs arrived. I wouldn't expect a long life but wondered.

We, have had several days on my own just chilling. Yoga and meditation, music and reading.

No contact with the outside world and it has helped no end. I can see now that my mind was trying to carry too much and I needed to get away and lighten the load somewhat. Job done.

The issues are still there but I can only do so much and that's it.

I've no chance of catching you lot up so will start from here.

Hope everyone is well, I bet I've missed a load of glitches but tbh I only buy what we use or what the family would use.

VT, how is your dad sweetheart? Amidst the meditation thoughts of you and your family came up x
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Oh dear, everyone must have gone to bed. Think I'll have a quick dip then get to bed myself.

Well technically you are not wrong or right :p iif you took your 7 bottles to the till thinking (due to the signage) that you were entering into a contract that stated 6+ bottles then you'd have a winnable argument. As I said, the signs are so ambiguous, you'd have a winnable argument whatever. You only need to enter the contract with what you believe to be the terms ;) as long as you can back that belief up......which you can with the bad sign.
I could go further and say that Morries are effectively saying you can only have 25% off 6 bottles and anything over that (whether multiples or not) should be full price.......because the signs could also mean that :D

You should have been a lawyer :p.........you're not, are you? :rotfl::rotfl:

Sign in my morries said multiples of 6 ie 6 12 18 in tiny writing at the bottom.
On way in we were told can keep money back vouchers effectively for 56 weeks before out of date. That means potential to save up £1300 to spend promptly. Handy if marries starts to sell large items or as saving for Christmas. This is something no other store does. Also told they match everything even cheapest own brand (size within 10%) so careful with fillers.
I tried 7 wines just to check if it came off over 6 bottles.

:eek: No, I've missed one! Morrisons Rinse Aid! I was just getting into bed as well, but then the thought of the name of the item came to me, so I've come back downstairs to the computer to log back on:rotfl:. It has a points offer - now, is it 100 points or 150 points?:think: I'll call it 100 as I think it's more likely to be that (I bet I pick wrongly:rotfl:) as I've no time to search through all my handwritten stuff to find it.

I don't think it matches anything in our favour (so it's just straight points from Morries' price) - I did check this last week and I think I found that, at best, it was already price-matched to elsewhere. Possible that might have changed by now, with price changes elsewhere that I just haven't caught up with, but unlikely. 20% weight limit don't forget so may well compare pro-rata to quite higher weight products elsewhere - and I don't think that is favourable!

Adding it to the points list.

If you notice anything missing or any errors on there, do let me know! TIA. Goodnight again!:) (Yet again!:rotfl:) :D:wave::wave:

Thank you for thinking of us.
Dad seems reasonably settled at the nursing home. He has learnt to book his shower the day before. Think he gets tired doing it alone and gives them a chance to look for potential dangers, bruising.
He has learnt he can have a cuppa whenever he wants he just has to press the buzzer. Being polite he didn't like doing this at first.
His only real grip is no newspaper until the afternoon when my sister takes one. It is good for him as forcing him to watch TV just so he can moan he knows what is in the paper. This is the type of thing he enjoys moaning about. He has also been listening to his radio a bit.
He is more stimulated but the care is not disruptive like carers coming into the home. Here if he is asleep they can come back later.
He is getting lots of visitors which is great.
I am going up on Thursday.

Well I couldn't sleep so as Wednesday is going to be a revolving doors day I decided to get up and make a start on my next plan of attack which is revamping the study

So the biggest job was emptying a bookcase in the corner - contents now piled high onto the dining room table so I can sort through and start a cull. I thought it was all my stuff - baskets of postcards, writing equipment, notepads and envelopes etc.
But Actually the bottom shelf had yet another pike of OHs mags and 4 dead laptops - stuff for OH to take charge of.
So already I am one shelf better off :T
I've got 3 baskets of Jiffy bags to dispose of, another of old receipts (and 2 carrier bags more of them)
Several boxes of posh Christmas cards - no idea why they are not in the loft.
strangest of all one little box of MOCs from before Black Friday - dating back to 2008  - def ready to let go of these :D

OH has to rearrange the wi fi spaghetti mess of wires before I can proceed to stage 2 which is mainly refilling the empty bookcase mainly with books and a select few baskets of stationary. This gives me space to tidy up the other bookcase.
Also going to try moving my wine boxes from the dining room to behind the sofa - yes our study has a sofa, if we were posh it could even be called a library :rotfl:

OH is going to get a shock in the morning when he sees the monstrous pile on the dining room table (and under it as well when I run out of space on top) and wonder what I've been up to in the night :rotfl:

Right out of battery - back to bed or I will fall asleep at the hairdressers tommorow :)
