Don't know what's wrong with me :o all the stuff on telly really got to me last night :(

You are a little bag of Haribo sweets. The blue one, I keep mine in the car away from the kids. My treat for when Im out and about on my own :D

I think you just battle your way through the days but then one tiny thing happens, it could be something on the TV or just a chance remark and it's like the chink in the dam and the entire contents of the dam come cascading out again ...

My eldest son is putting in for his 2nd tour today

So everything is setting me off.

I am pouring my energies into house scrubbing - started with the kitchen already. In the midst of this every cupboard and drawer this week is going to be turned out so I can find all the treasure I've hidden away for Christmas - at least I hope there is enough treasure to cobble Christmas together ...

    Live or dead chicken?

    Accidentally or on purpose?

  • Morning, not had a chance to get on much over the past wee while.
    VT love the painting.
    FC, hugs x

Been busy with work, busy week ahead and DS not too happy because he's off school and I'm having to drag him with me. Have to leave for work soon, we're taking the teenagers on an educational visit to Crumlin Road Gaol. In all honesty we're only going because some of the teenagers and all the adults want to and we need to tick the 'educational' box for our funding :D. They wanted to go on the ghost hunting tour but for that they have to be 18 :( they're not very happy with this :rotfl: but at least they're keen to go.
Halloween activities for the rest of the week so probably won't get any time to get back on before the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good week x

So, how many hours before you got out of there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have to say, he is excellent! He realised about 5/6 years ago how much it irked DS2 if he didn't see him bang on time. DS2 also told him not to be rude once when he dared to look at his phone during an appointment.
He's actually taken a lot of brutal honesty from him over the years. My favourite being when DS2 had really severe sleep problems. The doc suggested removal of all gadgets, TV etc from his room and told DS2 to read instead. DS2 said to him 'you don't have children, do you?' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

FC, may I suggest you're a warm cuppa? Comforting, soothing and there when you need one. *waits for Dotty to suggest a 'sipping' innuendo* :)

Better that than a teabag one!
