M list now "finished". Not the points list of course:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - just the usual one! Not many new items, but what new items there are...;) There's that Carlsberg Lager now at my £10:j price... but, will it compare? Certainly not at the moment - need to wait till the new update in any event. And Pringles (190g) - are they really straight £2.48 in A? Need to wait till at least another day.
Both these new offers are very short duration in M it appears - due to expire on 2/11. Obviously too good - and are currently true in M!:D
Also note the publications that are appearing under "Non-grocery", right at the very bottom of the list, right at the bottom of 'buy in M'. Not to be demoted though - as these products are same price everywhere, it may be best to 'buy in M' (which is what M wants us to do of course:D:(:rotfl:) as M have 'extra points' offer on them. Includes the Sun newspaper:eek: - sorry Merseyside, I am merely a messenger. May not buy it unless it has a fruit & veg. voucher later this week (points offer in M due to expire on 2/11, so appears it wouldn't be good next week). Woman's Own and Woman magazine carry "More" points offers in M so, if there's a points offer on any publication - that is going to otherwise be same price in every outlet that sells it - it is automatically going to go onto "buy in M" in this context!
I'm now just calling them "points" on the usual M list rather than calling them "More points" as I assume you know what the reference to "points" means. The price is that not taking into account the points. In other words, £1.00 150 points would mean you pay £1.00 and then get 150 points (or 15p) making it, in some people's views, 85p net. The wider points list, if I do it, will be much later and beware as it'll include all points offers including the silly ones that cost you more money. For example, there is a points offer for a few pence (I'm just trying to find it in all my information - it's there somewhere but can't see it immediately, so don't know from memory the exact number of points but will in due course) for Heinz Tomato soup multipack. Something like a few pence worth of points. Yet the product currently is at £3.39 (I think - again, I have the details;)) in M - just looking - I can now say "I have the details, msm does not":rotfl::rotfl: as I'm looking on msm - this is a 4 can multipack. Yet 6 cans multipack was on £1.50 RTC in A, a while back now and 'normal' guide price on 4 pack was £2 (even that, in that context, way too dear) - so why would you go for £3.39 and a few pence?!?:eek: Probably 25p or something. T is at £2.50 at the moment, but, even assuming it ever compared, it would still, even with the "few pence" points probably still be £2.25:eek: - way too dear, even more expensive than the 50p individual cans price that I don't bother with anymore. So, just be aware - it's all points offers (that I have details of) whether they make sense or not. With quite a few you may, IMO, be doing your money. So, as you will;), shop savvy and be very selective! (As I aren't:rotfl::rotfl:.)
Happy shopping:).0 -
There is no points list (from me) yet, for those just catching up from the end! I bet it's already on the M app.:D(:rotfl:). Anyway, it'll be (from me) a little later in the week if it appears! Maybe... tonight:eek: (as in 11pm Tuesday given that it's now Tuesday morning!:rotfl: Nearly a full day therefore:rotfl:!).
Goodnight!:):wave:0 -

I'm glad to be back. And I hope I can get out and contribute to the thread.
I hope so too :beer:0 -
Im off to bed remembering the 453 British servicemen who have lost. their lives fighting in Afghanistan.
upwards of 20, 000 afghans have lost their lives in the same warno doubt most of them had families
no - one wins.
I had a proper 'moment' tonight.
When a warrant officer accompanied by a Welfare officer knocked on my door.......I slammed it in their facesa proper lalalala Im not listening moment
DS1 who was around 12/13 at the time let them in......I was lying on the floor in a ball
I didn't want to hear what they had to say. The woman who was the welfare officer crouched down beside me and said.....'he's alive'
......sorry for being so emotional0 -
Just been having a couple of hours catch up to see what you've all been up to :jGood morning all, trust you are all doing ok.:)
Had a mixed weekend, some friends from London came to stay which was lovely, and gave us a kick up the backside to get some things done round the house, but tinged with sadness because we had to take our very old and much loved dog to the vets to be put to sleep on Friday. He was the best dog we ever had we were very lucky to have him for 14 years. (he's the one at the front of my avatar pic). All part of being a responsible pet owner, but the hardest one we've had to do. We now have to see how our little one gets on as an only dog without his best mate. :A
BIG ((hugs)) lutzi, us pet owners know what that is like but you know he is out of pain now. Hope your younger dog gets on OK, but they do seem to adapt wellI had been thinking about my dear dad last night it would have been his birthday on 11 November .
Coming up to Mr 3Dogs' birthday too, on 10 November, bless him :A My only Grandad that I knew died on that date too, many years ago nowfairclaire wrote: »this is so touching VT
