Evening all! Hopefully everyone has had a good and/or productive weekend
Emma, I see you've already had lots of suggestions, but I thought I'd add that there's also the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal. Hubby and I do it every year, it's so nice to include a letter or a photo which the child may reply to if they are able. It feels really good to track where in the world your box has gone and to know that a child somewhere will have a box full of what may be the only presents they have ever had
GD (11 yrs ) does this too She gets RTC in tosco and sainsbobs plus a couple of us oldies help her out Looking to get rid of toys that were supposed to be stocking fillers and never used Need to be more selective with my sweetie fillers now
Work are doing some tinned food campaign for a cancer charity Just one tin each, I said fine as I always buy something extra in my weekly shops mostly for the food bank Strange looks were received
DH thinks I am a bit mad for buying stuff for the food bank but it is only coppers in the weekly shop and as someone on here said "its paying forward"0 -

Would also have preferred to see Barney win it but can't have everything :rotfl:
Fingers crossed for Jenkins now....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between Bauhausian sensibilities and skateboard ethics.
With influences as diverse as Machiavelli and Joni Mitchell, new combinations are manufactured from both orderly and random meanings.
Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the endless oscillation of the universe. What starts out as yearning soon becomes manipulated into a cacophony of greed, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the inevitability of a new beginning.
As subtle replicas become distorted through boundaried and personal practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the darkness of our culture.
