    Afternoon all

Having an afternoon of curtain alterations as mine were too long. The will have to set to on the pair I bought cheap from argos to use as liners.

FC I have no doubt I will catch up on 'clockgate' as I read.

Question for mimi or anyone else who buys these things.
Unfortunately BS calenders not glitching like last year and not keen on contents for the money as only a saving of £33 on individual prices.

    The choice I have is Benefit @ £60 or no 7 @£35
Now contents in the no 7 kit are a massive saving but buying for dd.
I always buy her the Elizabeth Arden huge set at xmas and thought a nice advent would be a change. Personally never used Benefit and presume all contents are smaller sizes.
These are the only 2 i think I have a choice between.
Any sugestions which to go for. Sure I can find a code or 2 for either so going to have a look. The No 7 one is not released until wednesday. Going for the Playmobile ones for dgc on 3 for 2 so No7 would make up a nice spend to use a code but do want to get dd the best contents iyswim.

    TIA

Eh up VT, how art thee?

If you're referring to the Benefit advent calendar it's sold out completely and currently on ebay for upwards of nearly £200
I saw this on You Beauty for £49.99 and seems pretty good value for what it is: http://www.youbeautydiscovery.co.uk/luxury-boxes/adventcalendar.html

    Hope that helps x

Also VT the Benefit stuff is the nuts, but they seem rarely to have any kind of offers on them. I've been hunting for myself and found this: http://www.boots.com/en/benefit-fun-size-flirts-limited-edition-set-of-beauty-bestsellers_1498091/

I'm eyeing it up for the sales :D Embarrassing to admit but I went through my make up bag this week and realised most of the make up I own is pretty much over 10 years old and dried up, so been replacing it all this week. :o

The Benefit calendar is lovely and apparently has £109 worth of products, they are all sample size though. I think value for money wise the No7 one is a far better buy. I agree with you about the Bodyshop one, it's not great for £50.
I think the Selfridges one looked fab. £85 though, although it has a lot of high end stuff including perfume. Seems to be sold out already though. Online anyway, it might still be available in store.

Im not buying any of these myself, but I do like looking

Why do they always come at tea time? It's so stupid. Come mid afternoon, or late morning. That really grinds my gears.

    Yes gets me aswell.

My first foray into the elite was on that thread too :D locarr and MKS first to welcome me in :)

I'd posted something I thought was a bargain on grabbit and the grocery board, and it was carried across onto the elite with no mention of crediting me :(:o if only I'd known how things were gonna turn out :rotfl::rotfl:

Lots of names I recognise on there, some of them I miss posting, others I certainly don't

Tesco used to be so glitchy, what happened?!:rotfl:

:hello: and glad that you are still here.:T:T:T

The cap of 10,000 only applies to match points. More points are different and although it might be limited too i see no limit.

    Fuel max 800 per week.
How when my points are carried forward to my next voucher, that is what my m&m account is saying

Thank you - capped at 10,000 points so you lose 1240?

    Anon

Thank you - I asked earlier as I cannot see reference to a More cap per shop (apart from they may apply a cap on some offers - assume they would tell you?) but can see in 10.1 reference to 10,000 Match cap per shop and 4.4 100,000 cap per calendar month. So with Hardy's you could get 4 bottles for 10,000 Match and 8,000 More points if you wished. Or you could do rinse and repeat to reduce how much cash you pay out.

I cannot see mention of only one account per household? If not, cap must be per person/account? So Mrs Anon could play too if a particularly good offer :).
