On the M M&M (or are we going for MMM or 3M?) scheme, do the More points count towards the 10,000 per shop limit ....

    Worth noting:
In addition to the overall cap on points you may earn in any month, we may cap the number of More points you can earn in any offer.

Probably just covering themselves but a warning they may not honour their offers (imagine the uproar!).

Where I believe they have left themselves exposed to T,S and A cries of foul to ASA etc is giving you no way of checking which products they have matched and where, as it is not as transparent as the other schemes, unless I am missing this feature?

    Many thanks

    Morning.
For the DIYers B&Q Dulux coloured emulsion 2.5L for £18 or 2 for £26. BUT they have all the 5L tins for £17 :). How strange is that. Hth xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

To meet minimum spends for conditional offers or to use as a filler. £3 for a pumpkin the other day pushed me through the £40 to get a tenner for cos and helped me get to 10 items. Better than something i might use but didn't need. Covent garden soups ditto, coke life ditto.

Net cost was 60p on a £40.90 shop and i had 3 packets of Simon Howie bacon at £2.84 which is utterly devine.

The Elite must have been very well hidden if we have been around since 2006. I thought I was around when it started at I didn't join MSE until 2009. ;)

From memory it was around the time of the demise of the Ts DTD PP vouchers in 2011? I am sure someone will put me right though.

Morning all, sun is shining for my walk along the beach later. :j

Good thing about local hotels is you can be there in half hour. :D

this was sort of the start of us, roots if you like. it took 2 1/2 YEARS to fill the thread and then it was only 1/2 filled. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1656271

but I feel the next thread was the true start of us. which wackynut highlighted https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3513001

the elite word came a bit later as other threads were mocking us, they called us tramps. we added and trampets. then changed that to a tongue in check elite.

the 2006 mix up you have was the search word savvy mentioned was 1st used, not an elite thread.

Can I pick your brain about this? Is it on special offer?? Any info would be very appreciated as have a couple of family bdays coming up so would be ideal. Thank you in advance:beer:

Just been and got some for presents, it is the Freixenet vintage cava, rose and normal, 5.99 each, if you buy 6 you get extra 25% off
    35.94 - 8.99= 25.95 / 6 = 4.49 per bottle
Limit is 36 bottles per person
Check the aisles as mine were left in boxes stacked up, they just had a few rose ones on top, but I check the box and it was the normal ones underneath
I did not mix with a m&m shop, as the bottles are 5.25 cheaper than any where else, not sure about m&m but I used my voucher for a 40.00 shop so next time I go I will see if these get added on
    hth

    Good afternoon everyone :D
  • Talking of morribobs m&m, you can even get points for kitchen electricals I saw a Russel Hobb Kettle 25.00 with 5000 points

From some of your finds it appears you like many of the Elite have a wide range of interests :).

There are a number of items over the years that I have bought during glitches that I may not normally buy - mostly because like many of us no doubt we tend to buy similar products and brands all the time and being of an MSE pursuasion some non glitch prices are definitely not value for money IMHO. Głitches have widened my shopping horizons and also helped me stock up on items that we do/will use but buying in bulk sometimes to save money longer term.

That said, like most we probably have a few items that we could have done without .. The difference between want and need but if we went down that route we wouldn't buy most things, glitching or not.
