It's not money laundering as the original funds would come from an illegal activity for it to be classed as that. Doing the paypal thing is what's called 'micro laundering' and it's becoming increasingly popular way for criminals to launder money. So whilst you aren't doing anything illegal, you're using a method that might look like you are. You are right that it increases the likelihood of checks/temporary account closures etc. I suppose the larger scale you do it on, the more likely you are to encounter this?
Id say if you are going to do this, then make sure that you use legit details. Anyone doing it with false details to get access to more accounts etc could potentially run in a whole heap of trouble if their accounts are investigated.

Not scaremongering, just giving the facts as we are talking large sums of money in some cases.

Thanks Claire, I scared myself out of doing it last month anyway :o I was thinking £300 a month, not sure if that would be classed as large scale. All legit details as I have to pay any ebay income to oh so we can withdraw it because his account was linked to our joint bank account first and I now can't link it to mine as the account is marked as linked to another one already :(

Re: Paypal. Is there no charges for paying £25 into someones bank account from paypal? Also, do you have to pay it into their paypal account first and then they withdraw it, or can you just link the card, then pay it straight into their account? Many thanks.

I pay from my pPal into oh's Ppal as sending money to a friend and there is no charge then no charge for him to withdraw money from his Ppal into the linked bank account. Not done it with 3V yet though. Not sure this answers your question though.

Both of our accounts are verified Henrik so hopefully will make things easier to give a go, might try with £25 to begin with see how it goes.

Would definitely recommend the Blue Man Group. Also Cirque de Soleil Mystere at Treasure Island.

If Lance Burton is still doing his magic show, that's amazing. And very old school too. Lots of dry ice and showgirls. I remember gasping out loud at some of the tricks.

I used to date a magician. He's a bell end but still love magic :D

Ooooh and Penn and Teller! Can't believe I forgot about that. They got me up on stage and I did a knife throwing trick with them. Still one of the best moments of my whole life.

    Big recommendations for those shows.

    Thank you.
I think the money we saved on flights will soon be gone. But lots of memories made instead.

Agree with FC that you need to use legit details and best to verify PPal. You can then provide any proof of ID if required.

Yes you have to pay someone with PPal and they can withdraw - you cannot withdraw direct from the visa to Bank account. Use "Send Money to friends or family" option not pay for goods and services - first option no fees, 2nd has for the receiving account (:o I did one in error - Mes Anon didn't get the full £25).

I may be wrong but I thought you needed to spend £50 in T (on giftcards) to get the CC points.
