    Amazon charge a restocking fee unless the item is faulty and I think I'd also have to pay the return delivery charges, so I'd be out of pocket.

    Ahh. I thought you meant they didn't do returns

    So do the Elite and others like us have to accept a share of the blame for the circumstances that T find themselves in? Obviously not our fault that they overstated profits but our savvy shopping, DTD and use of PP etc will have all played their part.

    Apparently may as well get items like this, in any of the three stores except Mr A, as £1 price match would be cheaper by weight as these are 475g rather than 425g. Work out better than 10% cheaper than £1 for 425g - but, really, we are just eating more at a greater cost (£1 instead of 90p) as we still use a whole pie each time, no question of us leaving 50g:rotfl: to use on a separate meal and thus actually save any money. That 21.1p/100g (for the slightly larger weight) is more like 21.05...p/100g.

    Fray Bentos Just Steak Pie (475g)

    £1.00 21.1p / 100g

    Store_1.15px.png[Strike]£2.49[/Strike]£2.00
    Store_8.15px.png£2.49
    Store_3.15px.png£2.50

    Buy in T, M or S according to me:rotfl::rotfl:.

    Good evening

    Hugs to Locarr It seems that a lot of people are losing loved ones just now Take care

    Can someone help with a CS query I have £10 off £40.00 in tesco Does my spend have to be £40 excluding pp and possibly a HH voucher TIA

    I would go with a £40 total, then hand over in the following order...the £10 and HH and PP (and coke/soup moc etc) and hopefully generate a new PP

    My only uncertainty is the £5 off £40 and £10 off £40 both working together

    Not really. We are a really tiny minority, and far outstripped by the over 99.999% of shoppers that overpay at least on something and end up contributing far more than, believe it, we take away. And my one pack of £1.31 cheese free is hardly going to make much dent in the overall figures.

    Surely we would also have an effect on A? And yet it has increased its market share and grown ahead of the market of the big 4. I think that is real "good news" for us, as helps subsidise our shopping:rotfl:.

    Meanwhile, with T having the troubles they are, we are also benefitting there as the investors want them to cut prices and improve the stores' environments to attract customers back. The first of which is very good news, as helps reduce the cost of our shopping in A even further:rotfl::laugh:. If only T would put more offers onto comparable items - and stop having on offer ones that don't compare from elsewhere:mad:. Still doesn't encourage me to go to T and buy those there though:rotfl::rotfl:.
