My DS screen was cracked and phone still worked but he thought it safer to replace screen. It may have took shorter time than an hour he said he left phone and went back to pick it up an hour after HTH

I've not had anything on my account but I tend to find most of those 'security' emails are actually scams.

Thanks Zippy, but what is the back glass? Hubby's phone is just smashed on the top layer of glass, as far as I can tell, as I can feel the cracks with my finger but the functionality is still there. Is there another layer underneath that which can also break? I'm guessing it's quite difficult to replace the top layer of the screen and make it look neat.
