Thanks both! I'll take a look. £200 was a ridiculous price from Apple, especially as it's technically still functioning. I said his work should fix it really as they're the ones who want him to be contactable, but apparently it's up to him to get it sorted (aka it's up to me to get it sorted!)
My DS screen was cracked and phone still worked but he thought it safer to replace screen. It may have took shorter time than an hour he said he left phone and went back to pick it up an hour after HTH0 -
Just opened my Molton Brown parcel....beautifully boxed with a gift card.

I'm good, but knackered 3 hours sleep, then a 4.5 hour round trip to Gatwick earlier (I hate the M23 at the moment, 60 minutes each way to drive 1 mile on a slip road) , then my brother and SIL came round with Jake.
I hate the gatwick run and avoid it like the plague...I always go from Luton!!:D"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Anyone else keep having trouble with their Hotmail/Outlook email addies please ?
Mine keep sending me emails saying unusual activity on my accounts and then I have to mess about with security
I've not had anything on my account but I tend to find most of those 'security' emails are actually scams.
Hope you get it sorted soon either way0 -

and yes I can do it in less than 20 mins. it took less than 5
Thanks Zippy, but what is the back glass? Hubby's phone is just smashed on the top layer of glass, as far as I can tell, as I can feel the cracks with my finger but the functionality is still there. Is there another layer underneath that which can also break? I'm guessing it's quite difficult to replace the top layer of the screen and make it look neat.0 -
