Evening luvlies, not posted for ages but just wanted to say there's a little glitch on cheese. I think some stores are re-merchandising ready for Christmas so if yours is one of them and they're reducing to clear on some of their cheese lines keep a look out for the Kerry Low Low Mature cheese slices. In my local today they've reduced the packs to 89p. I bought 2 packs in my local along with other shopping including other cheese lines and just inputted the APG. For info the only cheese which is favourable against other stores is the Low Low. I wasn't looking to get anything back but thought I'd buy more items just to see how it compared. Anyway, against Morries it's showing as

    2 x Low Low Mature Cheese Slices (8 per pack - 160g) A - £3 M - £2.

Not a bad little return if you just pop some cheap fillers in your baskets.

One thing though, Morries price on MYS is showing as £1.50, unless there is a multi saver on which I can't see

    Hope this helps :)

    Goood morning all...

Where did the weekend go..I think I may have blinked and missed it..however we did manage to spend yesterday as a family and had a lovely day.

Ds1 went off to his party on saturday night...by all accounts he had a good time, phoning at 2am on sunday morning asking to be picked up...and when he go in promptly fell straight to sleep but thankfully none the worse for wear.

We were all up yesterday morning for a trip to the cinema,ds1 included, and we topped it off with a lovely pub sunday lunch...not at all MSE...but lovely to spend time as a family with both boys and OH
Hope everyone has a lovely week...huge hugs to those in need ive not had a chance to read back over the weekend so may ned to start afresh this morning.

Hi hun, glad your boy had a fab time and came home in one piece. X

    Hello all :)

I just got told a little loop-hole today for anyone who is flying Easyjet anytime soon- if you don't fancy shelling out a bucket load for luggage, try and get a premium leg-room seat. Automatically means you're entitled to a larger cabin bag- which is the only free luggage you can take.

I got quoted £74 for me and my mate to take two normal sized suitcases to Iceland. Laughed a lot. The poor Indian guy on the phone didn't know what to say. The funny thing is they only show you additional baggage prices for one way. So I said to him 'so it would be cheaper for me if I took my luggage to Iceland and just left it there like a drug smuggler' :rotfl:

Bet I'm on some kind of list now but it was just so ridiculous. Why would you only show the one way price? Who takes their luggage on holiday with them and just leaves it?

I regularly take checked in bags just one way - may be food/ prepared meals going out ( medical diet requirements) or plenty of booze coming back ( plastic bottles lighten the load). Depends where I'm going. Make your luggage work for you. :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.

Haha that is an absolute belter, you got me in stitches. How many shops do you think you'll need to do to feed yourself at Xmas? :rotfl:

You've made my day with that one

Would someone be kind enough to tell me what the heck this is?

I can only see a dead rat!

    Thanks

We brought back about 4 kilos more than we took with us to Morocco. Have to admit, couldn't resist an authentic tagine for under a tenner, along with tagine spice and a spice grinder :D OK, I know you can get tagines for a good price in the UK, but just not the same!
