Oh Nanny. What a day. You can always offload here. The rest of us do it enough :)

Thank you to the OP of the thorntons deal. I think October has turned into Christmas present month  but these are always a safe bet. If you're opening Thornton's on Christmas Day and you're disappointed then I question your judgement :rotfl:

:rotfl: can't wait to buy you a Christmas present from the garage! I hope I find £1 wilted flowers :D

I lived there from 1987 until 1991 whilst attending Stirling Uni. I shared a house with 3 other students just off the Cow Wynd. Very happy times :D I've been having all sorts of memories re-surfacing today. Sleeves record shop, 3 course lunches for something silly like a £1 at the Newmarket (?) Pub, the meeting place before a night out being 'in front of the Steeple'......and more :D
I had a PT job in Mathiesons Tea Rooms/Restaurant on the High Street, as a waitress where they still wore proper waitress Uniforms :D
Wow FC, perhaps our paths might have crossed. Same age group, same town, same memories.

In the Cow Wynd there was a great little shop that I used to buy pop group badges from in the early eighties. Sleeves was a bit further up nearer the high street and I spent a lot of my time in there. The Newmarket was always a favourite as it was very cheap and very central and as for the Steeple? Snogged many a girl there at Hogmanay..:T
  • Many thanks Bubbs for your reply I am after Lady millions for my daughter in law and it's out of stock, will try in store tomorrow.:)

    Love that idea!
I think they should come with a bumflap :D

Funny you should say that , but my DD pyjama onesie from Marks does have a bum flap, so she can have a wee without having to take it off. She loves it.

Now that's handy. Nothing worse than going into a freezing cold bathroom and practically taking it off beforehand  especially when you don't have anything underneath. Top half i mean :D
