I'm extremely surprised a person with a blind dog got this awful treatment with such visible harness etc on her dog. I have a hearing dog and often get stopped but as soon as I point to her coat (which unfortunately is not as visible as a guide dogs coat) all is ok. I just take it as expected to be asked as its usually done discretely, but never been shouted at by 3 people and embarrassed.

But when you get stupid people like liz jones pretending to have fully trained hearing dogs its no wonder joe public gets confused and makes a fuss when we try to take our dogs into public places

We get a lot of hearing dogs at work, and I don't think any one has ever questioned it. People who do, I think are just plain ignorant

    morning bubbs

Town where I live is on a 1 way system...whenever there's roadworks/accident/breakdown or the local bridge building co send a huge bridge girder out the whole place grinds to a halt

I've been trapped in the car on several occasions due to the moving of ridiculously large bridge parts! I got stuck in T once, unfortunately prior to my glitching days so I wasn't able to make the most of it. Another time I was in the car with my mum and decided to get out and walk home. I made it back over an hour sooner than she did, for what should have been a 5 minute car journey!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I feel like I've missed a day somewhere along the lines. Back to the grindstone for my first full week tomorrow!
