    I winged it as basically they are fritters but as we have already had banana pancakes at dinnertime, I didn't fancy yet more batter.

    These were dipped in a polenta, herb n seasoning mix, then in milk and then back in the polenta before shallow frying.

    Easy peasy. :)

    I know it's probably a far cry from the whistle stop recipe but we all ate it ;)
