"The world’s largest and most innovative cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, will make its first ever call into a UK port in Southampton on Wednesday. The cruise ship is 40 per cent larger than any other ship to have docked in the UK and is longer than the shard is tall and wider than almost six London buses parked end-to-end.
To celebrate the arrival, Royal Caribbean International will be providing complimentary tea, coffee, bacon sandwiches (and a veggie option!) to everyone who comes down to Mayflower Park on Wednesday 15 October between 8.30am and 10.30am to welcome the arrival of Oasis of the Seas. Subject to availability, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
For those keen to view the ship on its journey to Southampton, the ship will be visible from Ryde at approximately 8.20am, Calshot at 9.00am, Hythe at 9.25am, Mayflower Park from 09.30am and due to be alongside at 101 berth, City Cruise Terminal for 10am.
