Vivatic - can it be real?

I signed up with Vivatic a few weeks ago after googling "part time work". I thought a few extra quid for an hour or so a day wouldn't go amiss, but I'm far from convinced now. After six weeks or so my "earnings" finally reached the payment threshold, apparently it will take another six weeks to transfer the money to Paypal; I'm not going to hold my breath!
I've been screened out of more surveys than I have completed, sometimes after 30 minutes of questions, survey panels have stopped sending invitations as I have approached payment thresholds, and the "writing jobs" I have qualified for have been not so much fiction as outright lies - writing reviews for companies I've never heard of about services I'd never use.
Maybe others do ok out of them, but don't expect too much. Is this just another way for an internet company to get something for nothing, or are there any genuine opportunities out there on the net to earn an honest pound?

I used to be a member of Vivatic but I never applied for writing jobs I just done the survey side of things.

They were absolutely fine back then. Yes, the money took a long time to earn and the payments were a tad slow at times but the money did always come through.

Seems a lot of survey sites are struggling to get money out quickly these days.

Just for the record I think globaltestmarket is the best around.

Again, it's not money for nothing but surveys are plentiful and payments are always swift and within the stated times.
  • If you've found yourself on this thread, please do not be put off by some of the comments here. I have been a member of Vivatic for two years and have never had a single problem. The payment threshold is currently £20 and you are paid at the end of each month (granted you requested pay the month before and are reaching £20 a month). Payment is ALWAYS on time. I've received over £400 from them from surveys alone and I'll sometimes be inactive for whole months at a time.

At one point, I was hearing about accounts being closed without warning, but I think that the issue has been solved. Anyway, if the worst came to the worst and that DID happen to you, you would have lost maybe a few hours of your time. This is arguably the best UK paid survey site, so it's worth giving it a go.

You do get screened out of a lot of surveys, but it literally takes about 30 seconds before you get told you're not qualified. It's been the same thing with all the survey sites I've tried and it doesn't bother me. Being screened out late in a survey is very rare & I've always assumed the partner site was having technical difficulties, or I was accidentally inconsistent with the information I provided.

Yes this indeed. It is not my most preferred website but I did get paid on time.
