Civil Partners - BR does it affect my CP or do i need to include their SOA

Hi

My partner and I are civil partners. My partner went BR in aug 05, and was discharged mar 06. didnt pay anything.

however i am now in dire straits with my wages being cut by over hald, and no other source of income that is viable to fit in with my current work. I dont drive so cant commit to jobs further afield.

Need advice on the following:

1. will i need to include my partners wage on SOA
2. do i declare myself BR as an individuals SOA
3. will it affect the speed, outcome and repayment if my partner is already BR
4. By law am i legally bound to declare i an in a CP, or is it an individual declaration.

thanks all, any advice appreciated

From memory, I believe that the forms actually include the words civil partnership.
You can go br in your own right, but you WILL need to include your partner's earnings on your Income/Expenditure statement - this is purely for the calculation of a possible IPA/IPO and your partner will not, normally, have to provide proof of income.

If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
