NB anyone having issues with porinting onto a CD might want to read a workaround to HP's software.

The review is on Amazon here (lower down the page),

I have a printer which takes the same cartridges at the moment and I went for this as I need a printer for uni. The cheapest way I have found to get cartridges is to buy twin packs off eBay. I can normally get black for around £22 for 2 and colour for around £25 for 2. The prices may seem a lot but they last ages as long as you get the high capacity 339 and 344 ones. The HP website gives a print yield of 890 pages in black and white and 430 for colour and from my experience that is very accurate.

I used to have an Epson r200 which I could get cartridges for around £1 each but the print heads kept blocking up and I had to spend all my time cleaning the heads out and wasting ink in the process. In the end I just gave up with it and went with a HP and haven't had any problems with it. I just change the cartridges and its ready to print none of this cleaning heads business.

Yeah, they are quite poor the cheap ones. I changed to CISS ink system and things are much better, and so much cheaper, and it never seems to clog the heads at all.

I even got a bargain on the system off Ebay getting 2 sets (used) for a tenner and sold the extra set for about £8 so it cost me buttons! :rotfl:

Hence why everyone else wanting just one has to wait 6 weeks.

He claims to have sold 3 last night on E-bay for £48 each. If you check e-bay no such sales were made. He's a troll, you are best not rising to the bait
