Problems with spam posts and signatures

Hi Everyone

Just so you all know.

MSE is having problems with mass spamming posts and they are working on tweaks to spam filters which is why some posts/signatures are coming up with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The spam posts are coming in waves and if you see any could you please all hit the spam button immediately. You will know which posts I mean as they are disgusting and very insulting.


Please bear with them whilst this is fixed.

The problem has now apparently been fixed.
If your signature is still not right, you need to re-enter it.
Go to the change signature page, the original sig should still be showing there, copy it and paste it back into the box then save it and it should return to normal the next time you post.

Is the word bananas in quotes still a swear word? "Oranges" and !!!!!!!s"!

EDIT: Ha ha! So it is! I guess it could be considered rather fruity language...

You don't need to copy/paste it just go to edit the save and its done.

At the time of my post you had to do the copy/paste, it then moved on that you only needed to add something eg a full stop. it has moved on again and yes now all you need to do is hit the save
