The webcard is a virtual card that you only use on-line.Each time you use it you set the limit and it is a different card number for each purchase.No worries about being over charged and if a site requires card details for you to get freebies then put a 1p limit on it.
This was mentioned by someone in the Empire sale (I think) before Xmas--my thanks to them.I have found it useful when dealing with the not so good companies that have bargains and especially the mis-priced items.You do have to apply for a proper card to qualify for it but I never use that one.I hope this is not moved to Credit Card Board as it has been mentioned a few times here that people do not want to give their details.
