Interview? Messed up?

I sent a job application by post and forgot about it. Had a missed call and I called back. I was expecting a call from someone and when the person on the other end wasn't who I expected, I just thought it's the wrong number. The missed call was from a mobile phone so I couldn't check online to see who it was before calling back.
After ending the call, I checked my list of jobs applied for and I realised I posted this company a job application!!! Do you think they check the phone number to see if I'm that idiot who forgot about them? Or will they not because I said wrong number? Would the person I talked to remember my voice if I called again using a different phone later on today?
I really messed up big time.

I highly doubt they will cross reference the number you called from against the number on your application. No one's got time for that!
Just call them back as soon as you can, and if they mention you phoning before (not that they will) just laugh it off and say you thought you had the wrong number.0 -
Did they not ask for you by name when you picked up the phone?0

Did they not ask for you by name when you picked up the phone?
They named their company but being half asleep I wasn't paying attention. I asked for the name of the person I expected, and the person on the phone said no we're company name. I said sorry it must be the wrong number and ended the call.
Didn't give my name. I'm hoping my phone number doesn't get checked and my voice isn't recognised. Last thing I need is the caller attempting to call me again later on and seeing oh wait, that number already called back in the morning... OMFG it's that idiot who said wrong number!

Yes I did! I got the interview! But guess what?! I misheard again. Only after I received email confirmation did I realise I misheard the company name. It's not the company in the city I thought it was! It's a different company in another city, and for a different job role.
Good thing I haven't booked my train tickets before reading the confirmation email. I swear I'm losing my mind right now! I blame all that coffee I drank last night.
They don't know I misheard their company name.

You can test your hearing online, you know. It's a fairly crude test but may be worth doing?Signature removed for peace of mind0

My hearing's fine according to the test. I have bigger problems now. I got this large bump on my forehead. See I was using the hand dryer which was located to the left of the door. After my hands were dry I turned right to open the door, but my head hit the peg on the door and now my forehead's looking like someone beat me up. As if things can't get any worse. Now I need to show up on Fri morning for an interview and that lump is prob still going to be there.
And !!!!!! am I going to do about compentency questions?! I'm in panic mode.0
