Northern Rock overpayment details needed

Hi,

It seems i've lost the details that northern rock sent me on how to make overpayments to my new mortgage. Does anyone know the sort code and account number i should be using for this? and would the reference number be in the following format 11111X-11111 ?

1's indicating numbers and the X being a letter!!

You could always phone and do it over the phone with a card? That's how we do it.

Hi Kimbee. I too would like to obtain this information. I didn't realise that you could overpay small amounts as little as £10. I would like to have the freedom to overpay at will without keep phoning NR up to arrange a change in payments. If you obtain the details could you let me know?

Hi you could set up a standing order with them, they will give you their account numbers and the reference number would be your mortgage account number.

If paying by card just give them a ring.

If paying by cheque on back of statement is an address to send to and you need to make sure your account number and name is on the cheque (see explanation on letter). Hang on I'll get it for you now!
