Jake Neeley (Danny Glover) is a Vietnam veteran who’s decided that life’s a much easier thing without other people around. Living in exile in a cabin in the woods, he’s one day visited by former platoon member Henry R. Hocknell (David Straitham) and his young half-Vietnamese daughter Lenny.
Henry’s contracted lung cancer and wants Jake to take care of Lenny while he seeks treatment. Unsurprisingly Jake refuses, but - wouldn’t you know! - Henry up and leaves her there anyway. But just as the old grump begins to take a shine to her, there’s further trouble looming…
Missing In America (cert. 15) is out on DVD on 30th July and we’ve got five copies to give away.
