Hi All
Havent been on here for a while so sorry if this post is in the wrong place!
I work full time as a nurse and am looking at ways to earn some extra money at weekends/evenings.
Have put myself down for agency and bank work for past 6 weeks with no work coming my way! Also, my mystery shops dried up when i went away for a month. Despite ringing and emailing them to ask them for work I have had no offers!!
Any creative ideas out there.
Thanks

Are your colleagues getting banks shifts? Most trusts prefer bringing in bank staff as it's cheaper than employing more in-house staff.Everyone i know doing bank work are getting so much they need to knock it back to do their contracted shifts.
Edit: are you a staff nurse grade or higher?Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
Thanks, yes, I think the problem is that I cant do the long days they require, so that is why I dont get offered bank shifts at the hospital i work full time at. I have thought about registering else where but need money in the mean time while I investigate that.

do market research.
I got £50 to evaluate TomToms, I refused £35 to have to drink Budweiser (US) and comment on their advertising
do website testing or "usability testing"
£100 or so probably for half a day
Qualify as a masseur - would be good that you are in nursing too
£30 an hour, but must deal with a few dodgey emails etc
Event security? Rock concerts etc, don't need to be male or threatening
There are even people paid to moderate chat-rooms...0 -
Try having a look through the "great 'bit on the side' hunt" thread in mortgage free wanabee, that may give you some ideas. Click here.I live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here0
