Hi -Can anyone help me. I have ms office professional 2003 which also has outlook. How can i add other email's i.e tesco.net and yahoo.co.uk address onto the outlook.
Also it works well for hotmail.com address, but when i try to register the hotmail.co.uk address, it says this is a premium feature and asks me to go to upgrade.msn.com, where i can see that i have to pay £30 per year to use the service.
Can't understand why it should work for hotmail.com but have to pay for hotmail.co.uk
Regards

In Outlook, set up new email accounts using Tools, Email Accounts.
Set up an account for each email address that you have. The Incoming mail server is the one for each email address. It will be something like mail.yahoo.co.uk or pop.yahoo.co.uk.
The SMTP server (outgoing mail) is the one that relates to your ISP. This is the one attached to the account you use to connect to the internet. If you connect using Tesco it will be something like smtp.tesco.net.
The important thing is that the smtp server MUST be the one that is attached to your ISP. The outgoing servers are the ones attached to each email address.
Re the Hotmail issue, IIRC, a charge was introduced. You may have to collect & send email for that account via webmail ... hopefully, another MSEer can give you more information as I don't use Hotmail.

If you go to Control Panel -> Mail you can also set up different profiles, so you can separate mail accounts into separate mailboxes and address books. Note that to switch profiles you need to exit Outlook and then reload it.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
