Overcharged @ Next - Whats their policy

Got meself a few bargains at the next sale. But they charged me 30 quid for a 12 quid shirt.

Does anyone know what their policy is on this. Any chance of it being DtD like Tescos??

Cheers

Well if it's got a tag for £12 on and you have your receipt, showing they charged £30 then I would take it back. I think they will only refund you the difference though.

did you not notice when sa confirmed total? a £18 over charge is unlikely to get over looked when hadling over your cash or card..sorry dont mean to offend but cant get my head round how you did not notice at the time of paying.

It will be fine, I once got charged for the same item twice - did not notice but went back the next day and although I could not actually prove it they took my word for it and I got my money back.

I should think its quite easy to miss an overcharge on 1 item if you've bought a whole pile of sale stuff.. unless you've added up your total before you got to the till. I know I've often come out of the Next Sale with a huge bag full of stuff.

The only reason I noticed an overcharge in Wallis yesterday was cos I had only bought a few items and knew there was no way they'd total that much.. the prices changes hadn't yet hit the till and needed putting in manually.

Its very bad, but when i pay with my card i often dont know how ive spent (not very mse) purely because i know i have the money to pay for it. Thats the trouble with plastic - its meaningless.

Did enquire about their goodwill policy - for the time/petrol wasted... not as good as Mr T's!!!
