a few weeks ago i was lucky enoough to hit asda at exactly the right time and got loads of bargins
one such bargin (20p) was loads of seperate 'off cut' packs of the cooked steak they use on meat feast pizzas, i tasted it before putting it in the freezer and i think its a sort of tikka, indian flavour.
i would like to use it in a proper meal but other than curry cant think what to put it with. its ready cooked and chopped into little bits.......any ideas??
thanks, vix

you could make a savoury rice with it - just fry up an onion, a pepper, some chopped celery, carrots and any other bits of veg you fancy, add a mug of rice, two mugs of stock and the meat bits and season to taste (you could add a bit of curry/chilli powder if you want). Cook until all the water has absorbed and you have a nice savoury rice dish. Or you could make your own french bread pizza - just split a french stick in half and cut into 6" lengths, top with tinned chopped tomatoes, herbs, cheese and the meat bits and bake for 20 minutes.a few weeks ago i was lucky enoough to hit asda at exactly the right time and got loads of bargins

What about using it in a fajita type meal? Cooked (heated?) meat with sour cream, guacamole, salsa etc. in wraps? Or an indian style fajita thing with parathas, chutney, raita, indian spiced salsa etc?2009 winnings: private box at the ballet, a cooking lesson with Jean Christophe Novelli, a case of wine, £25 itunes downloads, a candle, Football Manager PC game, a lipstick, £2500
