in Credit cards
Hello,
I'm looking for a credit card and tried to use check given on website and it doesn't work, it says that I can't be found. Am I the only here one so mysterious? I tried to play around a bit maybe with my main bank (I have 3 accs), address etc, but I'm still invisible to ME system.
Is there any way to fix it?

Yes, there is. You are not registered on the electoral roll, that's why the eligibility checker cannot find you. Register here:
https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Then wait 1-2 months, so your the data at credit reference agencies could be updated and try again with the checker.0 -
I have used the eligibility checker many times in the past but each time I've tried it in the last couple of weeks I have got the message "Unfortunately, we have not been able to find your details at the Credit Bureau. Please check and try again."
There is a similar facility on moneysupermarket and that can't find my details either.
I've been on the electoral register here for over 20 years and none of my details have changed. In August all the family received letters from the District Council headed "Your vote matters. The way you register to vote is changing." It continued "I'm writing to let you know that you have been automatically re-registered under the new system. You don't need to do anything else." and repeated at the bottom of the letter "You do not need to take any further action."
I have used the link kindly provided by xkpa, thank you for that, but it doesn't seem to indicate whether there was already a record for me, which there certainly should be.
Incidentally, my son also registered at this address used the eligibility checker successfully fairly recently and has completed a balance transfer to one of the cards tipped as suitable, without any problems.
My last BT deal expires this month and it's frustrating being unable to use this incredibly helpful tool.0 -

Not similar, same. MSE and MSM are the same company and so share tools.
The results of the tool are a guestimate at best, a number of providers have their own preapplication eligibility checkers with a much higher level of accuracy0 -
Even if MSE & MSM are the same company i think the eligibility tools are different. I recently moved, at first both tools couldn't find my details as the OP stated when I entered my new address. Now all my credit agreements are moved to the new address, MSE eligibility tool can find me, but MSM tool still showing that they cannot find my details.
