Can you please advise-not thinking straight.

Options
I remortgage my home recently and my new mortgage lender sent me a letter confirming and quoting:

The first payment - this figure includes interest due from 2 July 2007 - 19 July 2007, payable on the 19th July 2007 - £535.34.

Monthly Repayment Date: 19th of the month.

Subsequent monthly payment - this will be your regular repayment each month £784.07.

Are both payments due on the 19 of July or just the 535.34, sorry if this a really dumb question but I am not thinking straight at all just now, my father is quite ill and I have been with him for a few days now and returned home to find this letter on my doormat, I have checked my online bank and Abbey have only taken the 535.34, do I owe them the 784.07? If so, its not a problem I have the money available but I am concerned if I do owe them the monies why they haven't taken it on the 19 July.

I think you'll find that the £784.07 will be taken on the 19th August and then every month afterwards.
