Has anyone ever done this ie recycled aluminium cans for cash, it was something my little boy said when we were out walking our dogs the other day.
We walk our huskies everyday together and every day there is cans strewn and scattered everywhere ie off the local delectable youths who think red bull and energy drink cans look better on the floor.
Me and the wife are in debt and i was just thinking pick up a few every dog walk throw them in a rucksack then any can of coke/etc i consume check them before they go in the recycling bins.
What are the prices people have made etc

My friends' husband used to collect scrap metal and aluminium cans.... his garden looked like a tip and his wife (my friend) would go mad every so often.... hence he no longer collects.:rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I just remember seeing a guy on superscrimpers or one of them ilk of tv shows who did it and he went every three-four months and got a 200-300 quid each time.0 -
When I used to take my youngest son to school, periodically I used to see a man with a shopping trolley doing the rounds collecting cans on the waste ground by the school. It must have been worth his while or he wouldn't have done it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

yep I have don't it over the years...
think of it this way, any money you get, is more than what you would have had if you didn't do it..
I have a can crusher, so need to find it, and start collecting again...
If the cans are not in your way, and you have somewhere to store them, give it ago...Work to live= not live to work0
