Aldi usually do. surprised they haven't had them instore yet.
  • Saw some in Tesco with small ones at £1 (I think) and large ones at £3. I'm thinking of making a bit pot of pumpkin soup for an event soon, so the large one would suffice for approx. 20 portions...

T's have 3 sizes; small, £1; large, £2; & giant, £3 - but the large ones are 2 for £3. Some of the large are as big as the giant.

But if you do buy from here, make sure you read the label for the size as a lot of them in my local store were mixed up.

**no idea why there's no 'medium' size :) **
  • What do you want to use the pumpkin for: eating or for Halloween carving? You can get some different varieties with all kinds of weird and wonderful colours and textures. If interested, go to your local community garden (google community garden and your location/town/city) and it'll bring up a variety of places to ring up and find out if they sell said pumpkin/squashes in different varieties/textures etc. You'll find the flavours are much better, and prettier to boot!

Agreed - got several very big ones in Sainsburys last year at 10p each Great for soup, chutney and even just for having the seeds dried and then fried in a little olive oil
